Sign of the Rose of Rosenberg
A book from the detective cycle Sinful People of the Kingdom of Bohemia
The royal procurator Oldřich of Chlum comes across a dying monk near the castle of Bezděz. From him he learns that preparations are being made to assassinate Premysl II. Otakara. He immediately leaves to warn the king. A man who could have testified about the conspiracy is murdered at Prague Castle. Moreover, the criminals kidnap Oldrich's wife Ludmila. Then clues are discovered that lead to the mighty Vok of Rožmberk. Queen Kunhuta also asks Oldřich of Chlum for help in a delicate matter.
