Stephen Leacock: Mr. Fish's Little Dinner
Canadian writer Stephen Leacock is one of the world's best-known humorists. He lived in Canada, although he was born in England, from where he soon moved with his parents. He worked as a teacher for several years, then went on to study economics at the University of Toronto and the University of Chicago. He then worked as a university teacher in Montreal. However, it was his humorous short stories that brought Leacock to the pinnacle of literary fame. He wrote these during his studies and remained faithful to them throughout his life. One of Leacock's most famous stories is read by Josef Červinka.
