Strangers on the train

A modern homage to Patricia Highsmith's cult classic Strangers on a Train

Selena Murphy is on her way home from work when her train suddenly stops. While waiting, Selena strikes up a conversation with a beautiful stranger sitting next to her. The conversation flows quickly and casually. She introduces herself as Martha and confides that she is trapped in a relationship with her supervisor. Selena, on the other hand, tells her new acquaintance that she suspects her husband of having an affair with their nanny. When the train subsequently arrives at Selena's station, the two women part ways, probably never to meet again.

A few days later, however, the Murphy family's nanny disappears.

Selena's once perfect life is turned upside down. As she becomes more and more entangled in the mystery of the missing nanny and her marriage comes to more and more harm, Selena begins to wonder who the unknown passenger really was. But she's far from prepared for what she'll eventually find out...
