The Bride

Misery Lark is a vampire. Not that she's making a big deal out of it. He just has canned blood in his fridge and he really doesn't need the sunshine. On the other hand, her mate has never done anything good for her, so she prefers to live among humans with the only friend she's ever had. But one day it will disappear. Misery is left with only a cat who hates her and one name. The name of the leader of the local werewolves. Who's just interested in making peace with both humans and vampires. Terms? The wedding. And Misery is the daughter of a vampire councilman. Normally she'd tell everyone to go to hell, but this is about a friend. But after the wedding, things start to get complicated. In politics. Emotions. Sex. How do you get out of this with healthy skin and fangs safely in your mouth?
