The victim, a beautiful girl from a powerful and wealthy family, seemed to have had a perfect life
After the body of a young woman is found under a layer of ice in a south London park, Detective Chief Inspector Erika Foster arrives on the scene.
The victim, a beautiful girl from a powerful and wealthy family, seemed to have had a perfect life. As Erika begins to dig deeper, connections emerge between the murder and the deaths of three prostitutes who were strangled, their hands tied and thrown into bodies of water across London.
What is the connection between the daughter of an influential aristocrat who thinks he can influence the investigation and the dead immigrant women? What dark secret did the girl in the ice hide?
The closer Erika gets to discovering the truth, the closer the killer gets to Erica. Detective Chief Inspector Foster's last case ended in disaster and the deaths of five police officers, including her husband.
Erica's career hangs in the balance, she must fight her own demons and a killer more terrifying than anyone she's faced so far.
Will it hit him before he strikes again?
