Arresting and convicting the perpetrator of a murder crime is a difficult job even for homicide professionals.

Sometimes the lack of usable crime scene evidence, witnesses' reluctance to testify, reluctance to testify in court, other unforeseen circumstances get in the way.

Since her interrogation, the investigation takes a new direction that the homicide detectives must keep secret from their superiors. The suspicion that someone from above is watching their fingers and trying to manipulate them grows into certainty.

Homicide detective Richard Krauz suspects that a direct hit on the corrupt papalists will give them a hard time and solving the mystery of two brutal murders will be painful.
