The wanderings of a sticky fish
Ishtvan Yeseter was born one September afternoon on tram number 17 from a badly edited newspaper article - his father is an unconcealed lie and his mother is a lousy journalist's job. The only one, what he's got, is a fish scale for luck and proof of it, that it is the intellectual legacy of one Methodius H., who, of course, claims that this is all some kind of mistake. István has to quickly find his way not only in the hectic postmodern world, but also in where he came from and what he himself is. < br> Hope that he is not the only one of his kind dawns on him when he reads in Kundera's Immortality how the character of Agnes is born from a single gesture of an elderly lady by the pool. It is clear to Istvan that he must find Agnes at any cost. But what if even she doesn't know all the answers to his questions? And why is it that Ishtvan, looking in the mirror, can't shake the impression that he looks like a slightly different person every morning? < br> < br>. The publication of the book was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
