Things that will stay with us forever

He's not going to fall in love with a good girl

Bearded bad boy Knox likes to enjoy life just as much as he enjoys his coffee: alone. Unless you count his basset hound Waylon. Knox hates drama and doesn't let up, even when it comes to him in the form of a desperate bride who has fled down the aisle.

Naomi had just eloped from her own wedding, but at the same time she rushed to the aid of her estranged twin sister. In Knockemouth, Virginia, a seemingly rough town, disputes are settled the old-fashioned way. with fists and beer. Usually in this order.

Too bad Naomi's twin sister hasn't changed at all. After Tina steals her car and money, he leaves her an unexpected gift: a niece that Naomi had no idea about. Naomi finds herself in an unfamiliar city with no car, no job, no plan, no home, and an 11-year-old child to care for.

Knox has his reasons for not usually getting involved with complicated and demanding women, especially if they are romantics. But Naomi's life has exploded right before his eyes, so he decides to help her get back on her feet, and when she does, he intends to return to his quiet, solitary life. That was the original plan until the problems turned into something really dangerous.
