Tomb of the Thirteenth Virgin
A legacy of death: Lada and the mystery of the abandoned cemetery
Lada Nevrtalová arrives in a small village to take over the inheritance of her peculiar great-aunt Anna. The old house is, however, a very unsuitable home for a young girl - it stands in a secluded location, near an abandoned cemetery with a strange history. Lada soon becomes convinced that superstitions are still firmly rooted in the countryside and that there may indeed be something to them. The strange, almost horrific events that unfold around the Lady lead to murder and even her own life is threatened... An exceptional detective novel full of thrilling twists and turns by one of the best contemporary authors and screenwriters.

Choose from the literary works of Nadia Horáková. We can recommend especially the historical novels set in medieval Brno from the series The Mighty and the Poor of the Moravian Margrave, the witty and apt observations and incidents from the teaching practice embodied in the book Secrets of the Assembly Room, or some of the suspenseful stories, such as The Grave of the Thirteenth Virgin.
