Touch the soul of an animal

Gabrielle Harris grew up in a veterinarian's family and has spent the last 25 years working as a trainer of marine mammals, horses and dogs in a number of countries. Although she has spent practically her entire life among animals, her journey to understanding how to communicate and build relationships with them was not at all simple. In her book, Touching the Animal Soul, she summarises her experiences, impressions and, above all, the specific encounters with animals that have shaped her approach to training and coaching.

According to Gabby, we need to get to know animals not only with our heads, but also with our hearts. It’s not enough to just observe them, learn, and have an open mind – we must also stop being so self-absorbed and, when communicating, we must provide animals with clear and honest feedback that allows them to influence the direction our mutual relationship will take. Only then can our coexistence be meaningful and mutually fulfilling. In her book, you will read about how to achieve this, what mistakes to avoid, and how to tune into the right wavelength of understanding.
