VERONIKA ČERNUCKÁ Veronika Černucká is a journalist and writer. She studied to become a secondary school teacher, specialising in Czech language and social sciences, and also studied political science and philosophy at the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. She currently lives and works in Teplice as a journalist, writing columns, short stories, and articles for regional daily newspapers and magazines for women and girls. Her hobbies include reading classic detective stories, cooking and, last but not least, writing. KATEŘINA PEŘINOVÁ Kateřina Peřinová was born in Litoměřice and spent her childhood in Roudnice nad Labem. She studied music and drama at the Prague Conservatory, followed by pantomime at HAMU. During that time, she and her friend, actress Klára Issová, produced a performance of The Maids, which ran successfully for five years at the A Studio Rubín theatre. She also performed in Bullets Over Broadway at the Divadlo pod Palmovkou. She currently performs at the Radek Brzobohatý Theatre, where she can be seen in five productions. She does a lot of voiceover work. On television, she has appeared in series such as Mordparta, Až po uši 2, Inspektor Max, and Živé terče.
