The Great Moravian Old Man, or actually the young man who jumped out of the window? The Great Moravian Ginger Orm? The Great Moravian Forrest Gump? The novel from the time of the arrival of Constantine and Methodius in Moravia looks at this distant time with humour and understanding, while sticking to known historical facts. Where a stone has since fallen out of the mosaic of history, the author has added it in his own way. The plot of the book is moved forward mainly by Soběbor, called Soběk. Doesn't he talk weird? How about in Haná? Or a hantec? Or is it foxy like Foxy the Cunning Little Vixen? Probably a little bit of everything. More importantly, Sobek has a burning passion and knows how to be in the right place at the right time. In the end, the fact that Constantine and Methodius arrived in Moravia, and not in Bulgaria, is at least in this narrative to his credit.
