When bad things happen to good people

After experiencing his son's terminal illness, Rabbi Kushner reflects on the eternal question: Why do bad things happen to innocent people?

Rabbi Kushner, like any clergyman, has helped people through pain and grief many times. But it was only when he learned that his three-year-old son Aaron would die of a terminal illness that he was forced to ponder the eternal question himself: Why do bad things happen to innocent people? The author's own life journey eventually leads him to the conviction that illness and death are so tragic for us only because life itself is good and has incalculable value. In this audiobook, he reflects on what attitude to take in the face of the difficult events of our lives and how to get us to say together: I think of all that his life has taught me, and I realize how much I have lost and how much I have gained. Yesterday seems less painful and I'm not afraid of tomorrow.

The book became an international bestseller, appearing on the New York Times bestseller list for more than a year.
