Sarcasm and mystery: When the boss becomes more than just a source of frustration
My favorite hobby is annoying Elliot Miles. Just looking at the boss's handsome face makes me grin sarcastically. God knows what earned him the reputation of Casanova. How come millions of women lust after him despite his slutty nature? What the hell am I doing wrong?
Disgusted with my love life, I log into a dating app under a fake name and start corresponding with a man named Edgar. She's not my type and lives somewhere on the other side of the world, but we'll strike up a friendship because we have a similar sense of humour and can confide in each other.
Strange things have been happening at work lately. Elliot is... attentive. His eyes always rest on me a little longer than they should, and there's a heat behind them that I haven't felt before. And then, to my infinite shock, he tells me that he finds my vulnerability attractive. What vulnerability? Panic grips me. Has he read the e-mails I send to Edgar? Published in translation by Zdenka Lišková.

The scenes where all the Miles brothers were together were a balm to the soul and their banter gave me fits of laughter.

Uninhibited fulfilled to a T everything I expect from a hot romance. Reverend, a possessive man, who dominates both the company, in the bedroom, and a woman, who won't back down and is driving him crazy? Yes, please!
