Wolfwalkers

A young English girl, Robyn, and her father, a master hunter, travel to Ireland to help the Lord Protector exterminate the last of the local wolves and tame the wild country. Robyn would love to help her father, but instead, she is forced to stay behind the walls of the city of Kilkenny and drudge away as a maid with the other girls in the palace.

One day, she decides to venture into the wilderness on her own. However, on the edge of the forest, she is attacked by a wolf pack, and if it weren't for a wild girl named Mebh, who knows how it would have ended. The two girls soon become friends, and Mebh shows Robyn what life is like in the forest among the wild beasts. She belongs to the Wolfwalkers–an ancient Celtic tribe whose members can transform into wolves.

But Mebh and her mother are the last of their kind, and the English occupiers present an enemy they have never encountered before. If Robyn doesn't help her new friends, their people are in danger of disappearing from the world forever.

This graphic novel adaptation of the Oscar-nominated film of the same name uses beautiful illustrations taken directly from its cinematic original, complemented by an exclusive introduction detailing the history of the Wolfwalkers tribe.
