Yours, Forever Yours

The young writer Klára is in a “normally abnormal” relationship with her slightly older partner, Lenka, hiding her sensitive soul behind a cheeky and pseudo-independent facade. However, her world begins to crumble the moment she receives the first letter from Alice, a married mother who has “fallen in love” with her from afar. Alice has a single goal—to break up Klára and Lenka’s relationship and win her beloved for herself—and she isn't picky about the means. Klára is eventually forced to leave Lenka and take refuge with her best friend, Tomáš. But this only confirms what she has long known—that she is also attracted to men and that she cannot shake off Alice even this way. To complicate matters, her troubled sister, Karin, and a strangely attractive admirer, Daniel, enter the scene. Klára desperately fights for her privacy, and her writing career is also in ruins. Little does she know that the harshest revelation is yet to come… The debut novel from the young author and theatre actress Kateřina Veselá (who, incidentally, bears a certain resemblance to the main character) is a captivating insight into the restless soul of a young woman barely out of her teens, who is going through the difficult process of discovering herself and her sexuality.
