Mikrotik RBD25G-5HPacQD2HPnD
The Mikrotik RBD25G-5HPacQD2HPnD WiFi Access Point is a tri-band device that offers extensive coverage and high throughput for demanding home networks. It operates with one 2.4GHz and two separate 5GHz bands, uses the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard and provides a combined transfer speed of up to 1167Mbps. A powerful 4-core ARM processor and 256MB of RAM manage even dense network traffic. The tri-band access point supports mesh technology, which you can use to create a unified wireless network throughout your home, covering even complex spaces without signal loss. By connecting multiple units, you can achieve seamless roaming between individual points.
Key features of the Mikrotik RBD25G-5HPacQD2HPnD WiFi Access Point

Tri-band performance and transmission technology
The device intelligently distributes traffic across three bands, reducing mutual interference and optimising performance for each connected device. It uses the Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards. The 2.4GHz band with dual-chain technology operates at 300Mbps. The first 5GHz band, also with dual-chain, operates at 867Mbps. The second, more powerful 5GHz band, uses advanced quad-chain technology and transfers data at speeds of up to 2900Mbps. This distribution is ideal for connecting older and modern devices simultaneously.
Mesh system, advanced management and security
The access point supports mesh technology, including the OneMesh system. By wirelessly connecting multiple Audience units, you can build a unified network with a single name (SSID) that covers even very large areas. Expanding the network by adding another unit is simple, with synchronisation at the touch of a button. The system effectively eliminates dead zones and maintains a stable connection as you move around the house. The device runs on the RouterOS operating system, which offers extensive configuration options. You can perform basic setup via the mobile app for iOS and Android. For advanced users, it offers a full-featured web interface where you can configure the firewall, QoS rules for traffic prioritisation, or manage user access. Network security is protected by WPA and WPA2 encryption standards. The device operates in access point mode or as part of a mesh network.
Hardware and connectivity of the Mikrotik RBD25G-5HPacQD2HPnD WiFi Access Point
The unit contains a 4-core ARM IPQ-4019 processor with a dynamic frequency of up to 896MHz, complemented by 256MB of RAM and 128MB of NAND storage. This hardware setup can handle a large number of clients and data streams. Two gigabit WAN ports are provided for wired connections, supporting load balancing or a backup connection, along with two gigabit LAN ports. Flexible power is provided by passive PoE (24–57V) or two separate DC inputs (12–57V), which simplifies installation in places without direct access to a power socket.
