Pascal GPU on steroids
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti takes maximum advantage of the remarkable Pascal architecture, based on the ultra-fast FinFET manufacturing process with full DirectX 12 support. It is the same GP102 chip from the professional Titan X, but NVIDIA has introduced some massive changes. Although the memory bus speed dropped to 352 bits, it is the first model to use fast 11,016 MHz memory modules.
Extremely quiet cooling
The Armor version is designed to satisfy even the most demanding users in terms of performance, but it also features a striking black and white look for those who care about the style. The cooler is equipped with two highly praised Torx fans with Zero Frozr technology, which MSI introduced for the first time in 2008. This technology turns off the fans at low loads and turns them back on when the temperature of the graphics card exceeds 60°C. This leads to a significant noise reduction, allowing you to fully focus on the gameplay. Additionally, the Armor 2X processing provides better air circulation than traditional single fan systems. The blades create up to 19% better airflow without raising the fan speed.
