Pascal core on steroids
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti takes maximum advantage of outstanding NVIDIA Pascal architecture based on an ultra-fast FinFET manufacturing process with full DirectX 12 support. NVIDIA has massively overhauled the GP102 chip that forms the basis of the professional Titan X. The memory bus width dropped to 352bits, but for the first time faster memory modules have been used, running at 11008MHz. Thanks to this, the bandwidth has increased to 484 GB/s. This is a phenomenal shift compared to the previous 320GB/s and GTX 1080, especially to occur within the same generation of cards.
