The new MSI GAMING flagship series has just arrived. The MSI GTX 980 GAMING 4G is a modified version of a new the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980. Its overclocked chip is clocked at 1190 MHz, and using the supplied software you can easily change all frequency settings as you want. You can choose from three modes; if you switch to Silent Mode, the core automatically underclocks for minimum fan noise. Gaming Mode is the default mode for the smoothest gaming expereince. Users demanding maximum performance choose the OC Mode, which boosts the core frequency to 1216 MHz or even 1317 MHz with Boost Clock 2.

Silent Cooling Even during Intense Gaming
The enhanced MSI Twin Frozr V cooling technology introduces a smaller size cooler and quieter and more efficient use of fan blades compared to the previous generation. Before its launch, Twin Frozr V was thoroughly tested to ensure quiet cooling even at full GPU load. Heatpipes with the MSI SuperPipe technology condcuts heat from the GPU up to twice as fast than standard solutions, ensuring great overclocking stability. The card is made from the highest-quality materials compliant with the Military Class 4 certification.
Abundance of Features
For accessing detailed GPU settings, you can use the Afterburner app that allows changing clock frequencies of the core or memory or adjusting fan speed. The MSI Gaming App widget allows you to easily switch between Silent, Gaming and OC mode. Also included is the Predator image capturing tool, which records your gaming achievements as videos or screenshots. For connecting a display device, the card has a DVI, HDMI and three DisplayPort connectors. It supports SLI for connecting multiple graphics cards and increasing the already high performance. You can also enjoy realistic in-game visuals thanks to DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.4 support.
