TDP procesora (Thermal Design Power) je najvyšší možný tepelný výkon procesora, ktorý môže byť dosiahnutý pomocou štandardných aplikácií. Udáva, aké veľké množstvo tepla potrebuje chladiaci systém počítača odviesť od procesora, aby ho ochránil pred príliš vysokými teplotami, ktoré nebude schopný uniesť. Hodnota navrhnutého tepelného výkonu je výrobcom špecifikovaná pre každú súčiastku (procesory, ale aj grafické karty, a podobne). Vyššie TDP majú spravidla výkonnejšie procesory.
