Until now, the full extent of the incredible experience that virtual reality can offer has been limited to expensive high-end graphics cards. With the Radeon RX 460, MSI aims to introduce this technology to as many customers as possible, and thanks to its affordable price tag, it may very well succeed. The GPU is backed by 2 GB GDDR5 memory and its over 2 TFLOPS performance rivals NVIDIA’s Pascal products, which are twice as expensive.
Superior resolution and frame rate
The connectivity is exactly what you would expect from a modern graphics card. Aside from an upgraded HDMI 2.0b port, capable of outputting 4K at 60 fps, there is also a DisplayPort 1.4 connector on the back. The improved interface can handle resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 120 fps. The card also features FreeSync support for extra smooth image and HDR for excellent colours.
