MSI X99A RAIDER
The cutting-edge MSI X99A RAIDER motherboard of the ATX format and the LGA 2011-3 socket supports the latest Intel Core i7 Extreme processors. It is based on the Intel X99 chipset which has been tuned for maximum reliability even during extreme overclocking. Thanks to its state-of-the-art technology, support for superfast DDR4 memory up to 3333 MHz, and the ability to connect up to 3 graphics cards to PCI-Express x16 in NVIDIA SLI or AMD CROSSFIRE, the MSI X99A RAIDER forms a rigid foundation for some of the most powerful gaming machines on the market.
Rich connectivity options
Unparalleled connectivity options include SATA 3 with the ability to connect RAID-based hard drives. Both SATA Express and M.2 slots are included. Additionally, there are a total of four fast USB 3.0 ports on the back panel, as well as two USB 3.1s. Capable of delivering speeds up to 10GB/s, USB 3.1 is 20 times faster than the legacy USB 2.0 (four such ports can also be found on the motherboard). Other USB can be connected directly to the motherboard via an internal interface.

The graphicalt UEFI BIOS offering full mouse control support in Windows 8 will also come in handy.
M.2 socket
Yet another asset of this model is the modern M.2 interface for fast SSDs , which promises up to 67% faster speeds than standard SATA 3.0 slots. The motherboard can easily accommodate hard drives of five ordinary sizes. A SATA Express connector is also available.
