Simply install the Neato app on your mobile phone or tablet which is free to download on Google Play or the App Store. One device can connect to one account at a time - so the whole family can control the vacuum cleaner. You can add multiple robots to one account. The application also alerts you about battery status, start and end of cleaning, the need to empty the dustbin, or clean the filter and brush. LaserSmart SLAM

LaserSmart technology and detection of objects in real time - a precise laser continuously monitors and maps each room, including furniture, doors and even stairs. Based on the data the robot vacuums room to room in the most efficient way - it covers ever cm2 of the floor, and it even avoids obstacles.

Compared with other vacuum cleaners with a virtual wall, the Neato Botvac D5 Connected moves up to 4 times faster. The advantage of the laser is its easy orientation even in the dark, i.e. in a situation where the competition vacuum cleaner is lost and the cleaning is not 100%.

The unique D-shape robot with Corner Clever technology allows seamless vacuuming just 1cm from the wall and corners. Competitive products vacuum 10cm from the wall, and further from the corners. SpinFlow combines powerful suction power and precision brushes to maximise cleaning performance.  

Have you spilled flour or rice in the kitchen? With the SPOT program clean up is simple. Just place the vacuum cleaner in front of the space you need to clean and Neato will clean an area of 2×2 or 4×4m, either once or twice. A sufficiently large container with a volume of 0.77l provides enough dirt and dust storage for approximately four vacuum cycles. 

Ideal for all types of floors

The 27.7cm wide brush is suitable for all types of surfaces including carpets with up to 2.5cm long hair. In addition, it also handles tiles, linoleum, wooden and floating floors. The transition between different surfaces is a matter of course for Neato. It also copes with thresholds up to 2cm high.

Neato Botvac D5 vacuums in every room where you leave the door open. It never misses any area, even in the dark. In case the cleaning cannot continue, it automatically recharges at the base and then proceeds exactly from where it ended. The largest area the cleaner can handle for the cleaning cycle is 390m2. The integrated handle is an excellent tool for easy handling of the robot.
