The extremely compact and lightweight NIKKOR zoom lens is equipped with high-quality optics that are optimized for Nikon DX digital SLR cameras. The triple zoom range gives the lens superb versatility over a wide range of shooting conditions. This is a popular range of focal lengths, from 18 to 55mm (equivalent in cinema to 27-82.5mm), that is ideal for all motifs from common moments for breathtaking landscapes. Other award-winning features include the Nikon SWM ultrasonic focusing motor for fast, accurate and extremely silent focusing, an ED lens and an aspherical optic to minimize colour defects, astigmatism and other optical defects while ensuring high resolution and contrast. You can also quickly switch Focusing modes between A (Autofocus) and M (Manual Focus) and, finally, it features a 7-sided circular blade curtain iris for natural viewing of unfocused objects in the background.
