Nikon D5300
The Nikon D5300 is a more advanced successor to the D5000 series of single-lens mirror cameras designed for demanding users who can take advantage of all the options offered. Compared to its predecessors, the D5300 boasts an enormously enhanced resolution as well as ISO (up to 12,800), the EXPEED 4 processor with a higher speed, 39-point auto focus, and a 2016-pixel RGB metering sensor. It's made to capture creative and innovative photos and videos.
This model is designed to capture inventive photos and videos that other cameras can hardly match.
The basis of the camera is a 24 million pixel DX CMOS image sensor promising vibrant images with distinctive colours, low noise levels and fine tonal gradations. The high dynamic range of the HDR allows you to capture close-up, high-contrast images by joining two pictures taken in succession. The built-in dual dust-reduction system with the image sensor cleaning unit and the air flow control system in the mirror box helps to maintain the machine.
For the composition of the images, the user will surely appreciate the three-inch swivel monitor along with an electronic viewfinder. The Auto Exposure Mode function selects the most suitable setting for the current scene. There are also several Face Detection modes available. Continuous (Burst mode) shooting allows capturing fast-paced action with up to 5 frames per second. In addition to regular photos, it is also possible to capture Full HD video at 30fps.
You can apply a variety of effects and enhancements to your photos and videos. Demanding users will also surely welcome the support of the professional RAW graphics format. SDHC / SDXC memory cards are used as recording media. Power is provided by the supplied Li-Ion battery. The D5300 is already equipped with a Wi-Fi and GPS module to record the position when shooting. The already-rich camera capabilities can be enhanced by connecting additional accessories such as various flash units, microphones, lenses, and remote controls.
Nikon’s beginnings date back to 1917 in Japan. At first, the company mainly produced lenses - telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and other small, optical equipment. Soon the company expanded its portfolio, producing photographic lenses under the Nikkor brand.
In the field of cameras, particularly among professionals, Nikon quickly gained a reputation as a top manufacturer, which continues today. Its cameras were even included in the equipment of American spacecraft. Nikon designed and produced the legendary Nikon SP 1957, regarded by many as the best camera of all time.
