The portable laser rangefinder MONARCH 2000 from Nikon is a novelty for the beginning of 2019.It is a durable and waterproof device enabling comfortable and fast distance measurement in any situation, in various natural conditions. The rangefinder has a measuring range from 7.3 to 1820 m . The measured data are displayed on a clearly legible red internal OLED display, which also has the function of automatic brightness control according to the intensity of ambient light. The Nikon MONARCH 2000 laser rangefinder offers an object priority switching system for measuring overlapping objects. It enables single or continuous measurement of actual and horizontal distance and, thanks to the HYPER READ function, displays the measurement results in as little as 0.3 seconds.

The Nikon MONARCH 2000 laser rangefinder offers several measurement modes. The distance can be measured continuously for up to 8 seconds or once. If a single measurement fails, it is automatically extended for up to 4 seconds until successful. In particular, small or more distant targets are better measured. Thanks to the object priority switching system for measuring overlapping objects, it is possible to select the priority mode of the first object or the priority mode of a remote object, which you will certainly appreciate in wooded areas. MONARCH 2000 also has ID technology, thanks to which it displays not only the horizontal, but also the actual distance taking into account the rise and fall of the landscape.

The Nikon MONARCH 2000 laser rangefinder is equipped with a high-quality monocular with 6x magnification . In addition, it has multiple anti-reflective layers ensuring a crystal clear image. The 18mm eyepiece provides easy observation at a viewing angle of 7.5 °, even for people wearing glasses. The output pupil is sufficiently advanced and the device also allows dioptric correction. The body of the MONARCH 2000 laser rangefinder is a solid and straight construction, which is covered with a durable elastomer. The device is waterproof and resistant to fogging.
