The WU-1b wireless mobile adapter with Wi-Fi connectivity is designed to connect Nikon digital SLR cameras with smart phones or tablets. You can easily transfer photos or movies to your phone from your camera so you can share them on social networks, send them by email, or use them as a backup. The adapter does not need batteries, and is powered directly from the phone to which it connects via the USB connector. The adapter also allows remote control of single-lens mirrors, so you can use it for example when taking a self-portrait. You can use mobile phones equipped with a wireless LAN to control the camera - check your composition on a larger mobile display, start the shutter, select the focus area, or take a picture in Time mode.
