High-quality Omni-directional Microphone

The low-noise, omni-directional microphone keeps distracting background noise and breath sounds to a minimum to capture sounds coming from all directions. With intelligent auto mode, you can be sure that the recording will be of high quality. If a speaker speaks too loudly, the microphone reduces the input level, and when a speaker speaks quietly, the recorder increases the input level, to always provide an even level of volume.

Hundreds of Hours of Recording

Scene select offers different scene options for fail-proof, high-quality recordings in any situation. If you place the recorder on a table, various vibrations transmitted by the desk's surface can affect the recording quality. To avoid this, Olympus has provided a practical, built-in stand. An internal memory capacity of 4GB can hold up to 65 hours of high quality recording or 1040 hours of lower quality recording. If you run out of memory space, simply eject the USB connector and upload the data to your computer.
