Opinel, N° 8 Outdoor Green
Introducing this great pocket knife from the world-famous company Opinel. The Outdoor blade series is designed for the most demanding use that can be found in nature. It has a perfect stainless steel blade that lasts for years without the slightest defect. The knife handle is made of two different solid polymers. The Opinel blades have a Virobloc safety lock (VRI) that secures the blade against unwanted opening or closing of the blade.
The whistle built into the handle is also a great addition to this knife, which is particularly useful when you are lost in the woods. You will also appreciate the jagged portion of the blade edge, which is great for cutting ropes or wood.

Tradition is the key to success
The first Opinel knife was made in 1890 and over time this brand gained a real following in the area of pocket knives. Presently, Opinel blades are sold around the world at a rate of up to an incredible 360 knifes per hour.
Most of the wood used to produce the handle comes directly from France. The rest is created by importing exotic woods for a luxurious series of knives (ebony, zebrawood, Nicaraguan rosewood, etc.). Opinel blades are made of top-quality Swedish steel.
