This 2.85 magnification lens with zoom gets you closer to distant objects. Construction is resistant to moisture, dust and frost. Combine it with the same rugged Lumix camera body and be creative in any weather. The new version of the popular lens brings compatibility with the new features of the Lumix G series cameras.

Your photos will look great even in difficult shooting situations without the need to resort to a tripod. A super stable arm is not included in the package. Instead, there is an effective optical stabilization with Picture O.IS. It can cope with more camera shake. Photos will get clearly defined contours and sharpness across the image even when you zoom in or in lower light conditions.

Continuous change of the aperture eliminates sharp jumps in brightness, the silent AF does not disturb sound recording and AF performance is now mind-blowing. The lens was fitted with a range of advanced optical elements to correct deficiencies common for such a long focus. The problem is significantly more chromatic aberration and losing contrast or colour straight towards the edges. Therefore, there are two Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) and 1 Ultra-Low Dispersion (UED). The special nano coating then does away with duplication and unwanted reflections.
