This light sensor only switches on when motion is detected, so you'll save energy and still have light whenever you need it. The sensor detects the movement of people or animals in its vicinity, through a passive infrared beam.
The device is splashproof so it's suitable for both interior and for outdoor installation such as switching the lights on at home or in the driveway.
