The Pentax K-1 full-format DSLR camera boasts a durable, lightweight design with a steel chassis and a magnesium alloy frame. The body of the camera is also fitted with protective seals in a variety of places to prevent damage to the device when in contact with water, dust, and frost. In addition to the excellent design, the Pentax K-1 offers a 36.5Mpx CMOS sensor to capture perfectly sharp images with minimal noise. A wireless WiFi connection is available for the easy sharing of photos and videos.

Quality images with minimal noise

The unique 36.5Mpx full frame sensor combined with the new PRIME IV image processor allows you to shoot in the 14-bit RAW format with excellent sensitivity up to ISO 204,800. With this camera, you can capture professional images with high resolution in any situation, even in poor lighting conditions.

Effective Stabilisation

This unique 5-axis image stabilisation effectively reduces the camera shake by detecting the direction of the camera movement, so you can always take amazingly sharp images with minimal noise. Moreover, the stabilisation works with all compatible PENTAX full-frame lenses.

Fast focusing system

The fast and accurate focusing system uses 33 SAFOX 12 AF points and has 25 cross-type sensors positioned in the centre. The central sensor and the two sensors positioned just above and below it are designed to detect f/2.8 lens luminance, thereby making it easy to obtain an accurate focus position of the object when using a lens with a large aperture.

PENTAX Pentaprism Optical Viewfinder

The K-1 camera is equipped with an advanced optical viewfinder that provides almost 100% coverage of the field of view and approximately 0.7x magnification. The new Natural-Bright-Matte III focusing pad also provides a very precise manual focusing even in poor lighting conditions.

Flexible LCD display

The 3.2" display offers unlimited tilt in all directions, horizontally and vertically. And because of this unique design, you can set the screen in the perfect position that is comfortable for you to capture the ideal photos from unusual angles.

Records videos in Full HD

In addition to shooting excellent photos, this camera can shoot videos in Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Audio is recorded by a built-in stereo microphone that can be replaced by an external one. Of course, you can choose different filters or record videos at set intervals.

Built-in GPS module and compass

The camera comes with a built-in GPS module and an electronic compass that displays the current position on the display. Consequently, the photos can be tagged with the location information, direction and time of capture. This feature comes in handy especially in situations where careful preparation is required before capturing the sunrise or the night sky or other astronomical bodies.
