The dietary supplement for horses E-VET respirOforte prevents excessive mucus production, bronchial constriction and prevents weakening of the ciliary epithelium without further burdening the organism. It is therefore suitable for horses with chronic or recurrent respiratory problems. Its basic ingredient is MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), which makes cell membranes more permeable, and also the herb lungwort, effective in turn for the long-term expansion of the bronchi. The formula also includes watercress with a high methylcysteine content to moisten the respiratory tract and other herbs to support the expectoration of trapped mucus. E-VET respirOforte horse food supplement achieves the best effects with long-term administration. It is not suitable for pregnant mares or racehorses, and its use in equestrian sport requires a 48-hour withdrawal period.
