Tasty Ontario Senior Large Chicken & Potatoes meets all the nutritional and dietary requirements for the healthy functioning of the whole organism of older dogs, for which the level of activity should be taken into account and the composition of the food should be adapted. Developed in collaboration with veterinarians and nutritionists, Ontario Senior Granules' unique and exceptionally tasty formulaprovides a balanced formula with reduced fat and the right balance of all nutrients suitable for the aging dog. The recipe is based on a high proportion of protein from chicken and potatoes, which are the best source of carbohydrates after cooking. The granules also contain balanced Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids to support the cardiovascular system, chondroprotectants and fish oil to ensure healthy musculoskeletal and joint health.

The recipe of Ontario Senior granules is based on the main role of meat as a quality source of animal protein, which is indispensable and irreplaceable for the dog. Thanks to them, the musculoskeletal system develops properly - i.e. the development and formation of muscles, the construction of tissues, the recovery and regeneration of the organism. The source of protein is chicken meat, which has high levels of complete protein, is highly digestible with low fat and cholesterol. It contains many minerals. Protein sources intended for human consumption are used in the feed with a guarantee of their origin. The carbohydrate source in the feed is extruded potatoes. In its raw state, potatoes are indigestible for a dog, but this changes when they are cooked, so-called. extrusion, when potato starch is split into digestible and indigestible parts. The digestible part acts as a source of energy for the dog and the indigestible part acts as fibre. The fibre obtained from potatoes is extremely fine and therefore allows for complete cleansing of the intestine, including the folds (the so-called. ticks). Thanks to this function, it supports the proper functioning of the intestines and also serves as nutrition for positive intestinal microflora.

Rice, which is very easy to digest and significantly helps in the treatment of digestive problems, is another source of carbohydrates in Ontario Senior kibble. It falls into the LOW-GRAIN category, where the only grain is rice, and is suitable for sensitive dogs with grain allergies. The food contains a wide range of vitamins and minerals to support healthy growth and development - vitamin A for healthy eyesight, Vitamin D3 important for bone building and proper functioning of the immune system, Vitamin E as an antioxidant and support for the heart and blood vessels, Vitamin B12 for proper functioning of the metabolism and many others.

Up to 70% of immunity is formed in the digestive tract, which is essential for fighting diseases (it neutralizes pathologies, cancers, skin problems, etc. ) and therefore herbs and spices such as yucca were added to the feed, Fennel, Anise, rosemary, thyme, cloves and cinnamon, which have a beneficial effect, strengthen the immune system, take care of healthy teeth and gums, promote healthy digestion, reduce flatulence and provide many other beneficial effects. They are multispectral and each herb helps the body in many ways.
