ProBioBED CLASSIC is a dust-free sterile bedding for horses. It is a purely natural litter, which is made of spruce wood. Due to its low resin content, spruce fibre is the most suitable for the production of bedding because of its high absorption capacity. The high absorbency of spruce shavings is one of the greatest user benefits of this type of bedding. Dust-free bedding is suitable for use after surgical procedures or as part of equine rehabilitation. Another advantage of shavings is their use in case of diet or digestive problems - horses do not eat the bedding. The structure, length and thickness of the shavings create a flexible layer that simulates the natural pasture environment, protecting the horses' limbs and skin both when moving and resting. 2-3 bales are needed for the first bedding, i.e. 1100-1560 litres of litter. The height of the bedding is therefore approximately 10-15 cm for a box size of 3 × 3 metres. The normal consumption for topping up the box should be one bale per week. However, the cleanliness of the horse is very important. Packaging contains 21 packages on a pallet. The pallet is wrapped with foil for transport. The tubers are stored dry.

Sterility
The bedding does not contain microorganisms or any other pathogens that could endanger animal health. During production, the bedding undergoes a sterilisation process at temperatures of around 230 °C. This high temperature reliably destroys all unwanted pathogenic microorganisms.
Savost
Dried shavings bedding has a moisture content below 12% , which guarantees excellent water absorption, which is also a natural feature of spruce wood.
Softness and flexibility
Bedding made of shavings simulates the natural environment in nature. Industrial large-capacity planers process spruce logs into fine and flexible shavings up to 1.2 mm thick.
Shelf life
In one bale, shavings are compressed whose volume in the free state is more than 5 times larger. In the last stage of the production process, 550 litres of litter is compressed by a high-pressure press into regular bales. After unpacking, the bedding regains its original volume.
Saving space and time
Easy handling of the package. Packages can be stacked. Thanks to the hermetically sealed packaging, the litter can also be stored outdoors. This prevents the litter from deteriorating due to bad weather. Quick application and easy cleaning results in obvious savings in time and resources.
