The Petzl brand has solved the decision-making for you and created the Petzl Kit Via Ferrata Vertigo 1. It consists of the SCORPIO VERTIGO ferrata fall damper, the CORAX harness and the BOREO climbing helmet. The shell helmet is designed for head circumference from 48 to 56 cm. Its interior made of polypropylene foam provides shock absorption and the injection-moulded polycarbonate exterior resists damage. You can easily attach a headlamp and shield to the helmet.

The SCORPIO VERTIGO ferrata fall damper is made from a special fabric that starts to melt under certain loads, thus dampening the fall. It is compact, small and lightweight and serves users weighing between 40 and 120 kg. It consists of 2 elastic ropes with ergonomic carabiners with automatic lock. There is a short loop at the bottom to make it easier to get off the ladder.
