The PHILCO PHFD 5080 fruit dehydrator is great for drying vegetables, mushrooms, fruit, meat and herbs. Thanks to the energy input of 400 W, you can easily make jerky, dried fruit, and herbs. The advantage of this device is that it has 8 trays that can hold just about any food. The dehydration process causes moisture to leave the body of the food, but it keeps its flavour and all of its minerals, fibres and vitamins. This Square PHILCO PHFD 5080 dehydrator has a motor integrated into its bottom, which will keep warm air flowing from the bottom upwards. Food positioned closer to the centre and on the bottom plates will therefore dry out quicker than what is on the outermost and topmost plates.
