Automatic lighting and comfort for your eyes
The integrated motion sensor automatically turns on the light as soon as you enter the room. This is especially useful in corridors or in the cellar. Thanks to LED technology, the light switches on instantly at full power with no waiting. The light uses Philips EyeComfort technology, which minimises flicker and glare to protect your eyes from fatigue. The 4000K temperature corresponds to a neutral white light, and with a colour rendering index of 80 Ra, illuminated objects look natural.
Luminous flux is a measure of the total amount of visible light emitted by a light source and is expressed in lumens (lm). Higher luminous flux means higher light output. This parameter is important when choosing a luminaire because it affects how bright the lighting in a space will be.
Minimum chromaticity refers to the lowest level of colour tone that a light source can offer. This value is important for environments where soft and gentle light with a lower colour temperature is desired, such as relaxation rooms or living rooms where a relaxing atmosphere is desired.
Maximum chromaticity refers to the highest level of colour tone that a light source can achieve. This value is crucial for spaces where brighter, crisper light with a higher colour temperature is required, such as work areas, kitchens or places where maximum visibility is needed.
The Colour Rendering Index (CRI) is a measure of how accurately a light source displays colours compared to sunlight. A higher CRI value means that colours will look more natural under that light. This parameter is important in shops, galleries and anywhere where an accurate and realistic display of colour is required.
The ingress protection (IP) is an internationally standardised code that identifies the resistance of electrical appliances against the ingress of foreign items and liquids, especially water. It is expressed in the so-called IP code, which consists of the "IP" followed by two digits: the first indicates the protection against dangerous contact and foreign objects, the second indicates the degree of protection against water ingress.
Energy class of an appliance determines the amount of energy consumed by the electric appliance used within the European Union. Energy classes are defined by the EU and individual members of countries incorporate them into their legislation. From September 21, 2021, a new energy class ranging from A to G is applicable.
