The AVENT Classic+ bottle's Airflex venting system and textured teat are designed to minimize feeding interruptions and discomfort. The silicone teat resembles the shape of a breast. The unique valve on the teat flexes to allow air into the bottle instead of your baby’s tummy. A clinical study carried out by scientists at the University of London and Cambridge showed that at two weeks of age babies fed with a Philips Avent bottle showed a trend to less colic than babies fed with a conventional bottle.
