Bass Reflex Speaker System delivers a deep bass experience from a compact loudspeaker box system. It differs from a conventional loudspeaker box system in the addition of a bass pipe that is acoustically aligned to the woofer to optimise the low frequency roll-off of the system.

At low volume or in genres that require a stronger bass response, you can use the Dynamic Bass Boost feature. DSC Digital Audio Setup offers a choice of different modes - Jazz, Rock, Pop and Classic - to optimise the frequency range for different music genres. This in turn delivers better and more accurate music reproduction.

Digital tuner for extra convenience

Get an easy access to your favourite radio station without having to tune it in every time. With a digital tuner with auto tuning, you can store up to 30 favourite stations. The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep with your favourite radio host or music. Just set the system to your liking and after the set time has elapsed, the system will automatically switch to low-power quiet standby mode.

The hardware options include a practical port for stereo headphones and the overall user convenience is further enhanced by the included remote control. Since it is a portable device, you may not always have an electrical outlet at hand. This is why the Philips AZ783 can also run by drawing power from six LR20 batteries.
