The elegant design of this Philips iron white/grey juicer is a perfect addition to any kitchen. It can process soft fruits and harder vegetables or nuts, meaning that you can prepare healthy beverages (like almond milk!) from the comfort of your own home. You are able to choose from 2 density settings when making a drink, so you can decide what is right for you. The juicer has a large filling tube, eliminating the time you would waste cutting your ingredients into tiny pieces. The MicroMasticating technology promises to extract up to 90% of the available juice, meaning waste is minimal. Juice and pulp containers are separate, holding 1l in volume each. You don’t need to worry about cleaning the juicer since there is a special inbuilt cleaning programme which will clean your appliance for you. Its compact 11cm size makes it suitable for smaller households. The materials used do not contain BPA. The package includes a book containing inspirational recipes.
The HR1945/80 does not contain a sieve, meaning that the juice flows directly through a filter that captures unnecessary by-products. Due to the lack of sieve, you do not need any special equipment to maintain the juicer—a quick run under the tap is sufficient. The integrated drainage system is a huge advantage because juice is not able to spill on to your workstation. The activation of this system is simplistic and involves pressing a button to stop the current flow of electricity. Additional safety features include a metal security lock and some practical anti-slip feet.
