Philips SoundBar HTL9100 is ideal for a smaller room, where it can produce rich and realistic surround sound. This is the task for the whole system, not just the soundbar itself, but the key elements are its detachable wireless rear speakers and subwoofer. Since they are wireless, you can forget about cabling and jump straight into your movies with just the right atmosphere. Advanced spatial algorithms faithfully replicate the audio characteristics of the 5.1ch environment. This virtual surround sound technology delivers rich surround sound through a system that has fewer than five speakers.

A built-in Dolby Digital decoder eliminates the need for an external decoder by processing all six channels of audio information to provide a surround sound experience and an astoundingly natural sense of ambience and dynamic realism. Dolby Pro Logic II provides five channels of surround processing from any stereo source. Simply detach the wireless surround speakers from the main Soundbar unit and place them at the rear of the room to get the full 5.1 surround sound experience with your games and movies. The soundbar can be placed horizontally or vertically. A built-in auto-orientation sensor automatically optimises the audio output for the best possible results.

The device has 2 HDMI inputs and one HDMI 1.4 output, so you can hook up a 3D player and enjoy 3D audio experience. The system also supports coaxial and optical cable for digital sound transmission. Furthermore, there is an AUX input for pocket-sized players and Bluetooth connectivity for wireless music playback and easy wireless connection between devices, so you can easily play your favourite music from any smart phone, tablet, or laptop.
