The Pieps iPROBE BT avalanche probe is an indispensable equipment when searching in an avalanche. With its help, you can easily find out how deep the buried person is. It has a length of 260 cm and offers very fast assembly thanks to a unique locking system and risers for connection. The probe is equipped with a larger tube diameter, which ensures strength and rigidity at the same time. It is equipped with anti-slip tapes enabling its comfortable use even in gloves. The stations are marked by 1 cm and the individual parts are also marked with different colours. A practical silicone strap is then used to download the probe.

Pieps iPROBE BT with electric receiver

Pieps iPROBE BT is equipped with an electric receiver and can search for all types of avalanche finders at a frequency of 457 kHz . After finding the buried, it automatically cancels the transmission of the searched transmitter. As soon as the probe moves away from the search engine, the signal is activated again. This feature is fully compatible with Pieps search engines. In the case of using other search engines, it is necessary to interrupt the transmission of the found beep by the search engine using the Mark function.

The Pieps probe announces that a person has been found 2 m away

The probe is automatically switched on by its assembly. It is equipped with three diodes that inform about the progress of the search. The probe announces a finding within range in a high intermittent tone, in which case the victim' s beep is within 2 m of the probe. As the probe approaches the beeper at a distance of up to 50 cm, a steady high tone sounds and the LED also informs you. Pieps iPROBE BT is thus an ideal helper not only for mountain service and rescuers, who will find it much easier to find a buried person.
