Renowned sport watch manufacturer Polar launches its new M600 watch with an officially licensed operating system from Google Android Wear. It features a highly sensitive integrated GPS receiver, a heart rate sensor and a 500mAh battery, which provides up to 48 hours of power. The M600 is designed primarily for athletes but its stylish appearance ensures it looks great on your wrist throughout the day. Keen swimmers will be delighted that the Polar M600 is also water-resistant to 10 meters (IPX8) and can accompany you down at the pool.

When you look at the Polar M600, you will immediately be drawn to its 1.3" transmissive colour touch screen with a resolution of 240×240p and 260ppi. The display is perfectly readable even in direct sunlight and is protected by highly durable Gorilla Glass 3. On the underside of the watch, you will find an integrated optical heart rate sensor. The body is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT2601 processor that delivers smooth user interface responsiveness and boasts 512MB RAM plus 4GB ROM. A durable silicone strap helps you attach and take off the watch with ease.
Android Wear
The Android Wear system ensures a simple and intuitive user interface. As with mobile phones, you can look forward to regular updates and lots of extra functions such as voice control, weather forecasts, notification alerts and even receiving phone calls. With the Polar M600 you can create different profiles for different kinds of sports and activities. It can monitor your activity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and, based on measured values, provide an overview of calories burned. You can also get training programmes for four popular race distances – 5km, 10km, Half Marathon and Marathon. Polar software chooses a training plan to suit your needs and helps you build up to race day to achieve your goal. Integrated GPS gives you real-time data on your current pace, distance, and even your precise route position.
Watch values online
Measured data can be easily synchronised with Polar Flow, a mobile and online service that allows you to analyse your workouts, activities and sleep. It also displays advanced analysis training with various statistics and graphs that enable you to track your long-term progress, set goals and plan workouts. You can easily find out what your body needs to achieve even better results. Polar Flow is available for all Android and iOS devices.
The watch can also be paired with the Polar H7 heart rate sensor.
