The Pro-ject T1 EVO BT is a turntable that aims to deliver true hi-fi sound at a surprisingly low price. The manufacturing process and choice of premium materials result in a stylish, elegant design and a rich, vibrant sound. The design of the EVO model focuses on both improving user comfort (by adding an electronic speed switch) and enhancing sound quality. The T1 EVO BT turntable is the ideal addition to the modern home. In addition to the built-in phono pre-amplifier with a line-level signal output, which allows the turntable to be connected to any amplifier (even one without a dedicated PHONO input), it also has an integrated Bluetooth 5.0 transmitter with aptX HD. This enables the signal from the turntable to be transmitted wirelessly directly to Bluetooth speakers in the best available quality. The belt from the T1 EVO BT motor drives a new, larger sub-platter, housed in an ultra-precise (0.001mm) main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing.

No plastic parts are used in the chassis, which is carefully crafted to have no hollow spaces inside. This effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations. The T1 EVO BT turntable features a heavy glass platter. This design results in the perfect elimination of resonance, which is common in other low-cost solutions. Purposefully chosen feet ensure optimal isolation of the turntable from ambient vibrations and reduce the possibility of acoustic feedback. The sophisticated drive system forms the basis for the anti-resonance platform, which ensures the smooth and stable platter rotation necessary for the tonearm and cartridge stylus to track the groove accurately.
An audiophile turntable at an affordable price
The 8.6” effective tonearm length, rigid one-piece aluminium construction, and excellent low-friction bearing are important aspects for tracking accuracy. The headshell is integrated into the tonearm, which, in addition to its elegant appearance, prevents vibrations and offers a significant improvement over commonly used detachable, glued, or otherwise mounted headshells. The T1 EVO BT turntable comes with a pre-installed high-quality Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge with an elliptical diamond stylus, delivering a lively and precise hi-fi sound that is certainly not standard in this price category.
Superior sound without complicated setup
The T1 EVO BT turntable is delivered from the factory with the cartridge correctly aligned and the tracking force set. After unpacking the turntable, simply fit the drive belt onto the sub-platter, place the glass platter with the felt mat on top, and add the dust cover. The user does not need to make any further adjustments; just connect the turntable to an amplifier. Also included is a heavily shielded phono cable with a semi-symmetrical geometry, low capacitance, and RCA connectors.
