Original Prusa i3 MK3S+
The original Prusa i3 MK3S+ is a versatile enhanced original MK3/MK3S model, and is quieter, more reliable, faster and smarter. The 3D printer has a reworked extruder with increased extrusion power. It added a host of useful sensors for perfect print performance, and it has new MK52 magnetic sheets with easily replaceable steel printing plates and a double-sided PEI surface that will not get damaged even in contact with the nozzle. All this makes printing even better, and you get a perfect result every time. In addition, the MK3S+ can be further expanded with the Multi Material 2S Upgrade, allowing you to print up to 5 materials simultaneously.
New and Innovative
Improved Version of the Popular 3D Printer
Current printers are constantly being improved and developed. The original Prusa i3 MK3S is even better now and is therefore called the MK3S+. As of 24 November 2020, this 3D printer comes with the following new features:
SuperPinda
The SuperPINDA probe has a much higher quality sensor and components compared to the P.I.N.D.A v2. It works completely independently of temperature and does not need a thermistor. This combination of features is a prerequisite for a perfect first layer of every print.
MISUMI Bearings
The MK3S+ features a new set of metal clips for the genuine MISUMI bearings on the Y-axis. The belt tensioning mechanism on the X-axis was reworked and the X-end plastic parts reinforced. The filament path in the extruder was altered for better support of flexible filaments.
Building on Previous Improvements
Of course, the original Prusa i3 MK3S+ includes all the previous improvements that have been added over its lifetime. These are e.g. Gates belts, fabric cable covers, an Einsy cover for better Raspberry Pi mounting, anti-corrosion coating on the smooth PEI boards and many more changes, including firmware improvements.

The Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ 3D printer has been equipped with a range of sensors so that the printing process is perfectly monitored and any problems are immediately detected. First of all, the built-in filament sensor uses a reliable trigger system, which detects whether a strand of filament is inserted into the extruder. It detects layer displacement and a sensor added to the SuperPINDA probe compensates for the temperature difference. This achieves absolute precision from the first to the last layers. A pair of added thermistors then measures the temperature of the electronics and detects any errors on the board and connectors.

Assemble the Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ Yourself
The Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ is basically a kit that you have to assemble yourself. But don't worry, the assembly of the Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ 3D printer is documented in detail in the manual, including sample pictures. There will be no soldering or similar activities. All you have to do is screw the parts together and plug in the connectors. Of course, all the necessary installation tools, software and quality support from the manufacturer itself are also included, thus making it a favourite with users around the world.
