The TS-453Bmini-4G is eqipped with the advanced Intel Celeron 14nm, 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, which is characterised by its low thermal performance. Combined with the two-channel, 4GB DDR3L (2 x 2GB) RAM and the Gigabit LAN and SATA 6Gb/s dual ports, the TS-453Bmini-4G can deliver up to 224MB/sec of data throughput in order to optimise business-critical applications while remaining energy-efficient. The TS-453Bmini-4G also offers Intel's AES-NI hardware-accelerated encryption to provide up to 224MB/sec of data throughput thanks to its 256-bit, full-volume AES encryption for both full-volume NAS systems and shared drives.
NAS expansion using Virtual JBOD
In addition to expanding the use of physical storage units, there is another possibility of expanding the NAS storage space. QNAP VJBOD (Virtual JBOD) is a JBOD network volume that allows you to expand your QNAP NAS storage for multiple QNAP NAS units. Each file uploaded to the TS-453Bmini-4G will be available to all connected devices, such as computers, laptops or mobile devices. Qsync provides various methods of synchronisation and group file sharing and greatly improves the flexibility of team projects and cooperation. It also supports a centralised configuration and lets you remotely delete a Qsync folder on a lost device and thereby avoiding a disruption of data integrity. You can even restore the data after recovering the lost device.

Hybrid Backup Sync consolidates backup, restoration, and sync features (using RTRR, rsync, FTP, CIFS/SMB) into a single application. In addition to displaying thumbnails and responding to keyword searches, Qsirch also allows you to scan for .eml files stored on the TS-453Bmini-4G and use customised search criteria such as the date, size, sender, and recipient. Qsirch even remembers your search history, so you can quickly navigate to the files you've searched for before. You can also use the Google Chrome Qsirch Helper add-on to search for files on your NAS using Google Search.
