Qualcomm is heading to the market - and look what it has - a brand new virtual reality headset. The VR845 headset has a special viewing system (1024×1152 resolution for each eye) that evaluates which part of the screen you are focusing on. The two cameras in front of the glasses are used for the 6 degrees-of-freedom mapping and localisation system. This helps the headset work better with the VR environment and the gives you better orientation in both the virtual and real worlds. The Qualcomm VR845 Headset is also equipped with an eight-core processor, a powerful digital signal processor (DSP) and a Spectra 280 image signal processor (ISP). The hardware also includes 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory and 3D sound support.
