Have you heard of the credit card size computer? It is being developed by the British Raspberry Pi Foundation to support computer science teaching in schools. This device also perfectly serves as a multimedia centre alongside your television.
A welcome extension in the form of an infrared camera module with a native resolution of up to 8Mpx. The connection to the Raspberry Pi board is realised by means of a flat cable with a special CSI interface. Its miniature dimensions are fascinating and support 1080p at 30fps video.
Key Features
- 8MP Sony IMX219 CCD
- 3,280 × 2,464 resolution photographs
- Four holes for mounting the camera
- Designed for Raspberry Pi 1 and Pi 2
